Majidi Mall

I recommend Saquella Cafe, a charming Italian restaurant. Past its unassuming entry is a tucked-away, even romantic setting. The seclusion makes the high-gloss mall seem a world away. But aside from nice decor, what sets Saquella apart is its attention to the right flavors, especially cheeses (though the plating is dull). Entrees: 12 - 19,000 IQD. All the dishes are good, but I was curious how good Saquella could be. I ordered pasta with ostensibly homemade pesto. Such an intense dish, with its medley of unique foreign flavors, would be derailed by off-target chefs like at other local Italian eateries. Fortunately, it was a success despite slimly rationed pesto. The menu is vegetarian-friendly.
