Zerzi caves • كهف زرزي

These grottos are named after the adjacent village Zerzi, there is chain of caves which are the eponym to an Epi-Palaeolithic Culture in which microlithic tools are present.

Paleolithic research in the region of the Kurdistan dates back to 1928 with Dorothy Garrod.
