This takia is dedicated to Sheikh Abdul Kareem, a Sufi sheikh of the Qadirriyah order. They hold intense worship services every Thursday evening. Sheikh Abdul Kareem passed away 1955. He and his wife are interred at the takia. The current sheikh has his residence there.

This splendid takia has a worshipful gathering every Thursday even just past sundown.
