100 Women Street Gallery

First exhibited in April of 2019, the 100 Women Street Gallery was launched by Dashni Morad to highlight women's accomplishments in the world by featuring 100 women from ancient history through the modern day in a traveling 'street gallery' exhibit. The story of Kurdish women is symbolic of the greater Kurdish struggle for independence and self-government. For decades, women in Kurdistan have been standing up against suppressive governments and patriarchal society. Only in recent years have Kurdish women been recognized for their bravery defending their homelands, and for their principled leadership across all sectors of society. The exhibit also highlights women of other backgrounds as well.
