Basi tribe of Ezidis

The Basi tribe came from Basa village in Qatha Serte in Bakur.

There were 300 people in the clan. Only 20 survived when they arrived here in 1916, amid the the Armenian Genocide. All of the Basi tribe is in Kalebadre village now. The collective town of Sharya contains seven villages, one of them being Kalebadre.
