Mosque birdnest

Overhead is a sad story of civil war and the scars left behind. Long ago, a crane set up nest atop the minaret, but during the civil war it was shot at and never returned.

The nest was renovated, and some cranes were even brought in to make them roost, but no crane ever nested there again. However, in the countryside you will still see cranes making massive nests.
