This small gallery in alQosh offers a quiet look into the place of Christian Iraqis (and all Iraqis) as they transitioned from pre-industrial to modern. There is a solemnity to the artifacts: the old stamps, the paper passports, the various ephemera are tokens of governments that would all eventually end in periods of cataclysmic violence and mass displacement.
