Ridge ruins
When walking along the ridge that extends from the monastery out toward the plains, right away are the remains of a path and archway leading to the ruins of a small structure or complex of rooms.
Amid the remains of stone walls are steps, niches, and a cave. It is possible to reconstruct a sort of lookout that may have been built here to guard the monastery, or maybe a barn for animals.
The anthropogenic cave has a hole in top and an entry at ground level, thus resembling something that could have been used to store animal feed or grains for human consumption.
