Church of Saint Odisho / Sheikh Babak

This church dedicated to Saint Odisho used to serve the Christians in Nasiriya, who all left. However, under the name of Sheikh Babak the same church serves the Yezidis as a temple.

With no priest in Nasiriya anymore, the keys are kept by a Yezidi family across the street. Inside the church, the Christians and Yezidis alike tie knots, light candles, and keep oil for lamps.
