There are several events when work is prohibited or restricted.

Work is prohibited

- Three pilgrimage festivals: שלוש רגלים Shalosh Regalim

  - Conclusion of the week of פסח Pesach (Passover)

- The one day of יום כיפור Yom Kippur
Work is restricted
