Der As village, located on the outskirts of Shingal near the stadium, was previously Christian. It is unclear how long ago it was Christian, but most say a very long time ago (some say five hundred, or a thousand years in the past). There is a cave associated with the Christians but very hard to reach, and the Christians would flee to there.
