These are part of the canal system.

The cut-stone blocks are faced at the top and rusticated at the bottom; a few paving stones survived on top. The blocks themselves are similar in almost all ways to the stones of the aqueduct at jerkin, with the exception of inscriptions. Ur & Reade 2015
