Madonna

Referred to as the “Queen of Pop” since the 1980s, Madonna is the best-selling female recording artist of all times, having sold over 300 million records worldwide. Although her music often sparked controversy, she has emerged also as a businesswoman spanning entertainment, fashion, health clubs, filmmaking and writing. She was instrumental in the modern appreciation of Frida Kahlo who had often been overlooked before Madonna helped cement her status in art history.
