Li Maizi

Maizi is a Chinese feminist and one of the five women collectively known as the Feminist Five who were imprisoned for protesting against sexual harassment on public transportation on International Women’s Day. Maizi set up a Lesbian Community Training Group during her second year in university and has participated in several public protests to fight against gender equality and sexuality. In 2016, she also campaigned against forced marriages in China.
