Rigoberta Menchu

Rigoberta is a human rights and political activist born in Guatemala in 1959. During and after the Guatemalan Civil (1960-1996), she dedicated her life to publicizing the rights of the indigenous Guatemalan feminists, winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 1992. Rigoberta is also a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for her contributions to human rights.
